“The Singapore Botanical Gardens is a over 150-year-old tropical garden located near the main shopping belt of Singapore. Recently honoured as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; it is the only tropical garden to receive this honour.
Bird’s Nest ferns are large, leafy ferns commonly found growing on or near trees in Singapore. Long leaves or fronds sprout from a central stem, forming a nest shape. Hardy and low maintenance, they are popular houseplants in the tropics.
The photograph used in this artwork was taken at 1 Cluny Road, Singapore Botanical Gardens.”
