About The Cinnamon Room
The Cinnamon Room was established by founder and designer Visha Nelson in 2014. Having lived abroad for 20 years, the Singapore born capital markets lawyer and mother of two left her corporate life to set up a home for her young family back in Singapore. When she discovered a gap in the market for unique and well-priced contemporary rugs and homewares, the idea for The Cinnamon Room was born.
In the years since, Visha’s passion for design and strong business sense has continued to grow and differentiate The Cinnamon Room as the gold-standard for eclectic, sophisticated rugs and decor with personalised, bespoke service. The brand was recently awarded the Gold Award for Best Gifts, Silver Award for Best Carpets & Rugs, and Finalist Designation for Best Designer in 2021.
