Shipping and Returns Policy

Singapore Shipping:

For local Singapore deliveries for all items available in stock, you will receive your order within 3-5 business days. For made to order rugs that are currently not in stock but which are made to order, the lead time is approximately 12 weeks and all orders will be delivered within Singapore upon the rugs being delivered to us from our manufacturer.

International Shipping:

  • For international deliveries, timing will vary depending on region.
  • We deliver locally to Singapore. If you live elsewhere we’re happy to assist you on your order and arranging an international delivery for you. Please contact us at sales@thecinnamonroom.com to arrange an order internationally.

Taxes and Duties:

Please note that all duties and taxes payable on international orders are at the responsibility of the buyer. International shipping costs do not include any taxes and duties, which may be applied by customs once the package arrives in the destination country. These charges can vary widely and are often based on price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination county. If your order is subject to customs fees, your package may be held at your local customs office. For more information on taxes, duties, and customs regulations please contact your local customs office directly.

 

Return Policy:

At The Cinnamon Room, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. All our products are handmade and as such, slight variations may exist due to the nature of the natural materials and the handmade artisan craftsmanship used in production of each piece.

Refund Policy:

We accept returns that are eligible for a refund only in the following cases:

  • The incorrect item was received in terms of color, size, or model. (Evidence must be provided.)
  • The item is defective. (Evidence must be provided.)
  • The shipment went missing.

In all cases, please contact us at sales@thecinnamonroom.com to initiate the process. All items must be returned in their original condition in the original packaging.

Please package the returned items securely to prevent damage during shipping.

When we have received your returned item in good condition, a refund will be made within 7 working days. The refund will use the same mode of payment as the original purchase.

 

Exchange Policy:

For change of mind purchases, items may be returned to be exchanged for a store credit to the Exchange Value Amount.

As shipping is a hard cost we incur from our logistic partners, please note that all delivery costs are non-refundable. As such, you will be issued a store credit note to the following value:

Exchange Value Amount = Final Paid Price – Shipping Fees

Please ensure that your items meet all of the following returnable conditions:

  • You inform us at sales@thecinnamonroom.com that you choose to return/exchange the item within 3 working days of delivery
  • The items are in new condition and unused
  • Each item is in its original packaging

Cancellation

If you change your mind and decide to cancel your order or any item(s) in your order before they are delivered to you, please notify us within 1 working day from original purchase date and you will be refunded the amount paid less irreversible credit card processing fees.

Custom Orders

Please note we cannot accept returns or exchange for bespoke orders unless the product is faulty

Customised orders can be cancelled within 48 hours. Outside 48 hours, it cannot be cancelled or returned.

The return policies do not apply to customised orders.

Full payment must be made before the delivery.

SALES AND “AS-IS” ITEMS

Cancellation and return policies do not apply to sales and “as-is” items. Such items are explicitly labelled “on sale”, “sales” or “as-is” on our website.

Customised orders can be cancelled within 48 hours. Outside 48 hours, it cannot be cancelled or returned.
