The Artist’s Inspiration behind Jade Dragon:
“The Chinese Dragon, or Long (龙）is a Chinese mythological creature. In ancient and modern Chinese culture, Dragons and Phoenixes can be found in art, architecture and fashion for weddings and royalty. The Dragon symbolises power, strength and good luck. It is considered a masculine entity and is usually paired with the Phoenix which is deemed to be female. Together, they represent a fruitful and blissful marriage filled with prosperity and offspring.”
